Delta-sleep-inducing peptide is a neuropeptide that affects a number of endocrine and physiological processes within the central nervous system.

DSIP is of primary interest for its abilities to enhance sleep, reduce oxidative stress, and normalize myocardial contractility. It is also being studied as a potential target in the treatment of major depressive disorder.

Purity: >99%

DSIP is not JUST for sleep. It is currently being investigated for a number of therapeutics. Right now, we know that it reduces stress, alters pain, stabilizes blood pressure, and alters sleep patterns. It is also being looked at in cancer treatment, depression, and for its antioxidant properties.

Delta Sleep Inducing Peptide

Research

Sleep

DSIP has been shown to increase sleep time by 59%, and decrease the length of time it takes to fall asleep, with the very first use. Over time, research shows that there is greater sleep efficiency, with a reduced Stage 1 of Sleep, and the ability to drop into deeper more rejuvenating sleep quicker. [1]

Depression

DSIP is lower in people with Major Depressive Disorder. Hypothetically, could the relationship between motivation, depression, and sleep issues all be related? [2]. Another study found altered levels of DSIP in depressed people with suicidal thoughts [3].

Addiction

One clinical trial indicated that DSIP eliminated opiate withdrawals by 87%, and alcohol withdrawal by 97%. [4].

Cancer

DSIP is being looked at, for both cancer prevention and cancer treatment. One study with mice used it as a “vaccine” for cancer, and found 61.5% fewer tumors in the mice given DSIP. [5]
