When I first heard about Dr. Kirk’s work with patients diagnosed with bipolar disorder, I was skeptical. I had been working in healthcare for nearly 20 years and had spent the decade since my own diagnosis trying to manage symptoms that could be both disruptive and exhausting. Between breakthrough symptoms and medication side effects, I felt discouraged and, at times, hopeless.

I came in as a skeptic and simply let Dr. Kirk guide the process. I told myself that if it was going to help, the results would speak for themselves. To my surprise, I noticed a meaningful shift early on—within hours of my first doses, I felt areas of tension in my body start to release, and sleep came more easily. Over the first month, those changes continued and I began to feel more stable and resilient.

Over time, I experienced steady progress in my overall wellbeing. Any changes I made to my treatment plan were done thoughtfully and with appropriate medical oversight, and I’m grateful for how much clearer things became as my body and mind stabilized.

Now, approaching the three-year mark, I can honestly say I no longer experience the same intensity of highs and lows that previously caused significant consequences in my life. As my baseline has improved, I’ve also been able to identify and work on a different layer of symptoms—more like trauma/PTSD-related patterns—that were previously hard to see through the chaos of bipolar episodes.

I’m deeply grateful for the progress I’ve made and for the care and guidance Dr. Kirk has provided. This work has been life-changing for me.
